The Koa trees will get to the dangerously endangered list if not taken care of soon. There won't be enough lumber to build the ancient Hawaiian canoes for traditional voyaging, which is the same as wiping out an entire culture.  Also, they help prevent erosion, so a high amount of landslides will occur, more polluted air with the lack of clean oxygen from the trees.

I would prefer to at least have a future where people are aware of the value of Koa and native Hawaiian forests.  There are organizations already working to cut out invasives and restore the heart of the forest, the Koa and Ohia Lehua trees.  One organization is Hawaiian Legacy Hardwoods.  That way, more people can see that these jobs exist and are quite fun to do teamwork related activities.  Being a part of immersion always is the easiest method to learning and taking action in an unfamiliar field quick.  With the help of others, our environment can be restored.
