Solomon Elementary School is named after Vietnam war soldier who died in action, Samuel K. Solomon.  He volunteered to protect his country by saving wounded men, received a silver star, bronze star, and purple heart.

This school is made up of around 1000 students who are all military dependents. The 3 main ethnicities are 49.6% White, 19.6% Black, 15.9% Hispanic.  Compared to a lot of Hawaii schools, this school is one of the least diverse.  This is most likely due to the fact that this is in a military base.
